Some come with small pendulums that get behind the chains--but most of them do not.
Most chime clocks cannot be found in ordinary shops, but must be looked for at specialty clock shops.
Many chime clocks are wall pieces ranging widely in configuration. The wood is stained sometimes--but chime clocks may be found painted, as well. There are various shades and designs--a few would go perfect in the kitchen, some in the bedroom or living room, some in the study and chime clocks may even give a classy and somewhat stylish look to your office.
Most chime clocks, however, are crafted from stained wood, some arching at the top, others flat on both top and bottom with a subtle design on the sides. A few are long and slender, while others are smaller and wide--there are several variations.
